Cairo: Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration, and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty met on Monday, July 6, 2026, with Nabil Fahmy, the Secretary-General of the League of Arab States. During the meeting at the Arab League headquarters, Abdelatty congratulated Fahmy on officially assuming office.According to State Information Service Egypt, Abdelatty stated that such unanimous appointment reflects the deep confidence Arab nations place in Fahmy's extensive diplomatic experience and leadership.
