Cairo:According to State Information Service Egypt, Egypt's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Badr Abdelatty, has announced Egypt's readiness to provide Eritrea with technical support and training in areas identified as necessary. This initiative is part of the strong bilateral relations between the two nations. Abdelatty's remarks came during a meeting with Hagos Gebrehiwet, Economic Adviser to the Eritrean President.Foreign Ministry Spokesman Nader Zaki highlighted Egypt's commitment to enhancing economic cooperation, trade, and investment with Eritrea. He emphasized Egypt's support for Egyptian companies and the private sector's involvement in priority projects within the Eritrean market. These projects are particularly focused on sectors such as energy, industry, infrastructure, trade, fisheries, and pharmaceuticals.Abdelatty also discussed Egypt's preparations for hosting the El Alamein Africa Forum from October 2-4. The forum aims to strengthen economic and investment partnerships across Africa by connec ting governments, business communities, and financial institutions. Both parties expressed their dedication to ongoing consultation and coordination on mutual interests, supporting regional security and stability.
