Manila:Egypt's Fuel Automatic Pricing Committee has decided to keep petroleum product prices unchanged after reviewing the factors governing the automatic pricing mechanism for the third quarter of 2026, which includes the months of July through September.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources issued a statement on October 15, 2026, explaining that the committee had examined key factors, such as changes in the exchange rate and Brent crude prices compared to the previous quarter before finalizing its decision.

The Ministry also noted that this decision followed the Cabinet's resumption of the committee's operations. The committee assessed both domestic and international developments affecting the pricing formula, including global petroleum product prices and recent pricing measures, before deciding to maintain the current prices.
