Cairo: Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation, and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty met with Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani on the sidelines of the EU-Egypt Association Council meeting. The two ministers reaffirmed the depth of relations between Egypt and Italy and their shared commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation in various fields.

According to State Information Service Egypt, they also exchanged views on recent regional developments following the agreement reached between the United States and Iran.
