Cairo: Egypt fully supports Lebanon's sovereignty, territorial integrity, and stability, Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Expatriates Minister Badr Abdelatty stated during a meeting with his Lebanese counterpart Youssef Raji.According to State Information Service Egypt, the meeting occurred on the sidelines of the 164th session of the Arab League Council in Cairo. Abdelatty called for the immediate cessation of Israeli attacks and demanded the withdrawal of Israeli forces from all occupied territories.He also emphasized the necessity for the full and non-selective implementation of UN Security Council Resolution 1701. Abdelatty praised the role of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) and condemned recent Israeli strikes on UN peacekeeping positions in southern Lebanon, labeling such actions as clear violations of international law and a dangerous escalation that threatens ongoing international efforts to maintain peace and stability in the region.
