In statements, President of the Egyptian and African Gymnastics Federations Ehab Amin said African gymnastics, especially the rhythmic genre, is seeing a qualitative leap, affirming the African Federation's support for all African countries in hosting such events. He said Egypt's national teams are successfully following technical plans to maintain their continental leadership. The event is taking place from April 30 to May 2.
