Cairo: The Arab Republic of Egypt has expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the aggressive act carried out by the Israeli occupation forces against the State of Qatar. The incident involved targeting a meeting of Palestinian leaders in Doha, which was convened to discuss ways to reach a ceasefire agreement. This act is viewed as a flagrant violation of international law and the principles of respecting state sovereignty and territorial sanctity.

According to Union of OIC News Agencies, the Egyptian presidency released a statement highlighting that this attack represents a dangerous precedent and an unacceptable development. It constitutes a direct assault on the sovereignty of Qatar, a nation that plays a pivotal role in mediation efforts to achieve a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip. The statement further emphasized that such escalation undermines international efforts to achieve calm and threatens the security and stability of the entire region.

The Egyptian presidency has called on the international community to assume its legal and moral responsibilities regarding this violation. It urged immediate action to stop the aggression and hold those responsible accountable, to prevent further perpetuation of Israel's usual impunity.
