Cairo: Minister of Social Solidarity Maya Morsi met with Singapore's Minister of Family and Social Development Masagos Zulkifli on the sidelines of the 2025 International Conference on Societies of Opportunity (ICSO) hosted by Singapore. The meeting focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation in the areas of protection and social care, with an emphasis on the exchange of expertise between Egypt and Singapore.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the discussions also addressed the dire humanitarian conditions in the Gaza Strip. The meeting highlighted Egypt's ongoing efforts to support Palestinians, including the relief operations conducted by the Egyptian Red Crescent (ERC). These operations are crucial in transporting and providing humanitarian assistance to Palestinians, showcasing Egypt's commitment to regional humanitarian initiatives.
