Cairo: Egypt's Ambassador in Belgrade Basel Salah had talks Saturday 23/8/2025 with Serbian Minister of Defense Bratislav Gašic means of enhancing bilateral cooperation between Egypt and Serbia.According to State Information Service Egypt, Gašic highlighted the historical ties binding both countries as well as the recent political momentum that has accelerated the growth of their cooperation. He pointed to the landmark exchange of presidential visits in 2022 and 2024 as pivotal moments that deepened cooperation, particularly in strategic sectors such as defense and security.Ambassador Salah, for his part, praised the fruitful collaboration between Egypt and Serbia in the defense sector, including the regular convening of joint committees. He further emphasized the potential to expand this partnership to include the exchange of expertise and best practices between military academic institutions of both sides.
