Egypt and Morocco Emphasize Robust Bilateral Relations and Cultural Cooperation

Egypt: Egyptian Ambassador to Morocco Ahmed Nehad Abdel-Latif affirmed the strength and durability of Egyptian-Moroccan relations, noting that the historical cooperation between the two brotherly nations is long-standing and deeply rooted.

According to State Information Service Egypt, Abdel-Latif, speaking to the Middle East News Agency (MENA) during the Bibliotheca Alexandrina's participation in the embassy's cultural salon, emphasized a shared cultural memory that binds the two countries. This memory is characterized by cooperation among intellectuals and artists and convergence in regional and international forums.

Abdel-Latif highlighted the pivotal role of culture in nation-building and fostering ties among peoples, serving as a bridge that consolidates understanding, tolerance, and human closeness. He praised the Bibliotheca Alexandrina for being a global beacon for science and knowledge, while emphasizing the embassy's cultural salon as a platform to strengthen connections between Egyptian and Moroccan peoples.

He also commended the roles of ALECSO and its Director-General Mohamed Ould Amar, ICESCO, and the Mediterranean Youth Forum headed by Yassine Isbouia in enriching cultural movements and human communication. The ambassador also pointed out that the salon discussed digitization and its impact on Arab societies, particularly in light of the multiple challenges currently facing the world.
