Cairo: Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration, and Egyptian Expatriate Affairs Badr Abdelatty praised the distinguished relations between Egypt and Germany across all levels. He welcomed the positive development in relations between the two countries in recent years and the momentum they have gained at various political, economic, investment, and developmental levels.
According to State Information Service Egypt, this statement came during Abdelatty's meeting on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, with Alexander Radwan, a member of the German Parliament (Bundestag) of the Christian Democratic Union/Christian Social Union alliance and a member of the German-Egyptian Friendship Group in the German parliament. The meeting addressed ways to enhance relations between the two countries.
Abdelatty emphasized the depth of the relations that bind the two friendly countries and the aspiration to continue working to elevate all aspects of bilateral relations, including parliamentary relations, which he described as a key pillar for supporting bilateral cooperation and deepening communication between the two friendly peoples.
The top diplomat welcomed the important role of the German-Egyptian Friendship Group in the German Bundestag in strengthening relations between the two countries, highlighting its role in supporting joint cooperation in various fields, especially economic, trade, and investment.
