Cairo: Minister of Social Solidarity Maya Morsy engaged in discussions with Azerbaijani Ambassador in Cairo Elkhan Polukhov to explore avenues for strengthening bilateral cooperation in exhibitions and marketing, with a focus on supporting traditional and handicraft products.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the meeting concentrated on opportunities to collaborate in organizing events that would promote Egyptian and Azerbaijani products. It aimed to open new marketing avenues for artisans, productive families, and small-business owners, thereby supporting economic empowerment and enhancing cultural and trade exchanges between the two nations.

A significant outcome of the discussions was the agreement for Azerbaijan to participate as the Guest of Honor at the Diyarna Handicrafts and Heritage Exhibition. The Ministry of Social Solidarity is set to organize this exhibition in November, which will facilitate cultural and marketing exchanges by showcasing Azerbaijan's unique handicrafts and heritage products alongside Egyptian offerings.

Furthermore, both parties committed to enhancing cooperation to promote the marketing of high-quality Egyptian handicraft products in Azerbaijan, opening new avenues for collaboration and mutual benefit.
