Cairo: Egypt moved a step closer to qualifying for the 2026 FIFA World Cup with a 2-0 away victory over Ethiopia during their match in Morocco's Casablanca on Friday 21/3/2025. The first goal was scored by Mohamed Salah and the second by Ahmed Sayed Zizo.According to State Information Service Egypt, the win takes Egypt to the top of Group A with 13 points, followed by Burkina Faso and Sierra Leone with eight points each.
