Cairo:The 'Egypt 2026 Forum,' themed 'A Glimpse at Today, A Vision for Tomorrow,' has been launched to promote societal dialogue in Egypt. This initiative aims to gather public opinions and foster interaction among citizens, specialists, and policy-makers regarding critical national priorities for the upcoming years.
According to State Information Service Egypt, the forum exemplifies the significant role of public awareness in building an efficient state. This aligns with President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi's vision for modernizing Egypt, positioning national awareness as a key component of national security and essential for protecting the country and its assets.
The State Information Service (SIS) plays a pivotal role in this strategy by educating the public, particularly youth, about various national issues and challenges such as misinformation. Through domestic information centers across Egypt's governorates, SIS organizes activities addressing national projects, population health, energy, education, environmental sustainability, digital transformation, and rumor control.
SIS aims to ensure that all societal segments receive accurate information to enhance their understanding of issues affecting their lives. Youth are a primary focus for SIS, given their influence in raising public awareness and shaping the future. Recent interactions with youth, university students, and youth-led organizations have addressed these topics.
Internationally, SIS works to present Egypt's narrative by providing timely and accurate information to the global community. Initiatives like the 'New Delta' project field visit for international media demonstrate Egypt's commitment to transparency. Additionally, SIS produces publications and digital content in multiple languages, including nine languages, to broaden its global reach.
The State Information Service continues its mission to engage the public, especially youth, by offering reliable information and using modern communication tools. By enhancing citizens' knowledge, SIS aims to empower them to contribute effectively to national preservation and future development.
