Cairo: Minister of Education and Technical Education Mohamed Abdel Latif has formalized a partnership with Shinichi, a representative of Japan's Sprex Foundation, to develop a national educational platform aimed at transforming Egypt's educational landscape. The initiative is set to be implemented gradually across the nation, enhancing the mechanisms for monitoring educational processes and facilitating data-driven tracking of student attendance, academic performance, and assessment outcomes.According to State Information Service Egypt, the agreement was finalized during Minister Abdel Latif's visit to the Sprex Foundation headquarters in Tokyo. The signing ceremony was attended by Ragy El-Etreby, the Egyptian Ambassador to Japan, and marked a significant step forward in Egypt's educational reform efforts.The platform's phased implementation is scheduled to commence in the 2026-2027 academic year, starting with select educational administrations and gradually expanding until it operates nationwide. It pro mises to equip educators with advanced digital tools to track student attendance and performance metrics, thereby enabling timely interventions for students requiring additional support.Moreover, the platform will provide the Ministry of Education and Technical Education with real-time, updated educational data to facilitate data-driven decision-making. This will allow for continuous monitoring of educational performance indicators, identification of challenges, and implementation of necessary measures to enhance the quality of education.Minister Abdel Latif emphasized the strategic importance of this platform as part of the ministry's ongoing digital transformation initiatives.
