Athens: Within the framework of the efforts of the Egyptian Commercial Service (ECS) in Athens to strengthen economic and trade relations between Egypt and Greece under the leadership of Commercial Attaché Marwa Abu El-Sadat, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Foundation of the Hellenic World and the International Creative Academy (ICA) in Egypt.According to State Information Service Egypt, the agreement aims to promote joint cooperation in the fields of creative industries and handicrafts, as well as vocational training, thereby contributing to the establishment of effective platforms for the exchange of expertise among creators and entrepreneurs in both countries.The Memorandum was signed by the Executive Vice President of the Foundation of the Hellenic World and President of the "Hellenic Cosmos" Cultural Centre, Ms. Sophia Kounenaki Efraimoglou, and the President of ICA, Dr. Hany Barakat, in the presence of the Commercial Counselor and Head of the Commercial Office at the Embassy of Egypt in Greece, Marwa Abu El-Sadat.Its signing confirms the intention to strengthen joint actions between Greek and Egyptian institutions in the fields of culture, education and training, digital productions, research, as well as the empowerment of young creators and entrepreneurs. Particular emphasis is placed on the exchange of know-how, the co-creation of cultural programs, and the connection of cultural heritage with contemporary creation and technology.
