Cairo: General Abdel Meguid Saqr, Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces and Minister of Defense and Military Production, recently held a meeting with senior commanders and officers of the Armed Forces at the Central Military Zone. The gathering was attended by Chief of Staff Ahmed Khalifa, commanders of the main branches, and several senior military officials.According to State Information Service Egypt, the meeting was part of ongoing efforts to monitor and improve work mechanisms within the Armed Forces. Discussions focused on enhancing performance to ensure the Armed Forces fulfill their national duties and responsibilities in protecting the country and safeguarding its sanctities.During the meeting, several commanders provided briefings on the latest developments and challenges. They also discussed the Armed Forces' efforts to protect Egypt's national security and reviewed methods of work and modernization to keep pace with rapid developments in various military fields.In his remarks, General Saqr conveyed President Abdel Fattah El Sisi's appreciation for the efforts made by members of the Armed Forces to safeguard the nation's capabilities.
