Borg el-arab: Minister of Culture Gihan Zaki on Saturday, May 9, 2026, discussed with her French counterpart Catherine Pegard enhancing bilateral cultural relations on the sidelines of the Egyptian-French summit hosted in Borg El-Arab today between President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and President Emmanuel Macron.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the meeting explored future cooperation and partnership in heritage preservation, museums, antiquities, cinema, theater, music, and fine arts. Both sides agreed to intensify joint cultural programs and projects.
