Cairo:Chinese Ambassador to Egypt Liao Liqiang emphasized the cultural importance of the "Chengdu Panda Week" event held at the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization. The event featured replicas of archaeological artifacts, 3D-printed models, and virtual reality experiences, engaging visitors with interactive activities.According to State Information Service Egypt, the event allowed Egyptian attendees to explore the ancient Shu civilization, which thrived during the Bronze Age in the region now known as Sichuan Province, China.

The ambassador remarked that the cultural exchange fostered a new pathway for mutual understanding between Egypt and China, invigorating people-to-people and cultural interactions between the two nations.
