Cairo: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) announced on Thursday, February 5, 2026, that net foreign currency reserves reached $52.6 billion at the end of January 2026, compared to approximately $51.45 billion at the end of December 2025.According to State Information Service Egypt, the CBE stated that the reserves recorded a monthly increase of approximately $1.14 billion. This increase reflects an improvement in external liquidity indicators, bolstering the economy's ability to meet its international obligations.
