Cairo: Cabinet Spokesman Mohamed El Homosany emphasized the concerted efforts by state institutions to advance the tourism sector, focusing on increasing hotel capacity and offering various facilitation measures for investors. During a phone interview on the "This Morning" program on Extra News, El Homosany detailed the outcomes of a recent Cabinet meeting held on Sunday. The meeting concentrated on simplifying procedures for tourist entry and enhancing the overall tourist experience to alleviate congestion at airports.According to State Information Service Egypt, El Homosany highlighted the state's initiatives to expedite tourist arrival and departure processes while improving the quality of tourist services to strengthen Egypt's global competitiveness. The discussion also covered the pilot implementation of the Integrated System Plan for issuing e-visas, along with measures taken in emergency visa situations to streamline the visa granting process for tourists.
