Cairo: Prime Minister Mustafa Madbouli chaired the Cabinet meeting on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, to discuss a number of political, economic, and social files on the government's agenda. The meeting was held at the New Administrative Capital, with a focus on implementing the presidential directives effectively and within appropriate timeframes.According to State Information Service Egypt, the meeting agenda included the premier's recent attendance at the 123rd ceremony of launching the ambulance service in Egypt and his inspection of projects in Sheikh Zayed and New October cities. The Cabinet discussions addressed the president's instructions to meet citizens' needs, curb inflation, and prioritize spending on health, education, and social protection sectors.The Cabinet also reviewed ways to regulate the market, ensure the availability of food commodities, and continue work on national projects across the country's governorates. Measures to enhance social protection and support for the most vulnerable citize ns were key topics, alongside discussions on education, healthcare, comprehensive development, investment, increasing exports, and localizing industries as part of Egypt's Vision 2030.
