Cairo: Awqaf Ministry in cooperation with Misr El Kheir Foundation began distributing 100,000 food cartons to the families that need help in all governorates nationwide as part of preparations for the holy month of Ramadan.
According to State Information Service Egypt, the initiative comes within the framework of strengthening social protection efforts for the most in-need groups. Distribution is being carried out in accordance with verified beneficiary data from the database of the Ministry of Social Solidarity, ensuring that assistance reaches those who are duly eligible.
The distribution process is being implemented under a well-structured organizational plan covering various centers, villages and hamlets across the country. The plan is designed to ensure swift execution, close monitoring, and timely delivery of aid to beneficiaries ahead of the holy month.
This comes within ongoing coordination between the ministry and its governmental and civil society partners to intensify community support efforts during Ramadan. It aims to ease living burdens on vulnerable families and reinforce the values of solidarity and compassion throughout the nation.
