Awqaf Minister Hosts Palestinian Leaders to Reinforce Support for Palestinian Cause

Cairo: His Excellency Professor Dr. Osama Al-Azhari, Minister of Awqaf, welcomed His Excellency Dr. Mahmoud Al-Habbash, Chief Justice of Palestine and Advisor to the Palestinian President for Religious Affairs and Islamic Relations, along with His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohamed Mustafa Najm, Minister of Awqaf and Religious Affairs of Palestine, at the Egypt Mosque in the New Administrative Capital. The meeting was attended by notable figures including scholars from Al-Aqsa Mosque and Ibrahimi Mosque, as well as judges and leaders from various Palestinian cities.According to State Information Service Egypt, the Minister of Awqaf emphasized the resilience and determination of the Palestinian people, advocating for the establishment of an independent Palestinian state based on the pre-1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital. He highlighted Egypt's unwavering support for Palestine, underlining the country's commitment to facilitating humanitarian aid and opposing Israeli actions against Palestinian civil ians, particularly at Al-Aqsa Mosque.Judge Mahmoud Al-Habbash conveyed his appreciation to President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi for his steadfast support of the Palestinian cause. He acknowledged Egypt's significant role as an Arab ally and praised its leadership for standing against displacement and supporting Palestinian rights. He also addressed the severe impact of the ongoing conflict, including the loss of Palestinian lives and destruction of infrastructure.Dr. Mohamed Mustafa Najm, Minister of Awqaf and Religious Affairs of Palestine, expressed gratitude for Egypt's historical support, recognizing its pivotal role within the Arab and Islamic world. He commended Egypt's resilience and solidarity with the Palestinian people, affirming faith in their eventual victory and rejecting any claims of displacement by occupiers.
