Harare: Minister of Civil Aviation Sameh El Hefny engaged in a series of crucial bilateral meetings during the AFI Aviation Week 2025 in Zimbabwe, which is set to conclude on Friday. Among these meetings was a significant discussion with Boeing representatives.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the meeting focused on enhancing joint cooperation in aviation safety programs and advancing sustainable aviation. Key topics included the implementation of carbon-reducing technologies and the use of sustainable aviation fuel, both of which are expected to improve performance and contribute to environmental preservation.

The discussions also highlighted the importance of adhering to safety standards and boosting regulatory and technical capabilities to ensure the highest levels of safety in the civil aviation sector.
