Amman: Integrating Artificial Intelligence into auditing is no longer a future option; it is a reality driven by the changing nature of work, said Mohamed el Faisal Youssef, President of the Accountability State Authority of Egypt (ASA).

According to State Information Service Egypt, Youssef, who also heads the International Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (INTOSAI), made his remarks at a ceremony in Amman marking the 50th anniversary of the Arab Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (ARABOSAI).

He emphasized that the value of AI lies not simply in possessing the technology but in using it effectively to deliver more accurate and efficient results.

Youssef also called for a shift from reactive auditing toward a proactive approach based on anticipating risks, analyzing trends, and providing decision-makers with insights before challenges escalate.
