Armed Forces Host Ceremony to Commemorate Al-Mouled Al-Nabawy

Cairo: The Armed Forces held their annual ceremony to mark Al-Mouled Al-Nabawy, the anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad's birthday, with the participation of commanders, officers, non-commissioned officers, soldiers, Al-Azhar scholars, and officials from the Ministry of Awqaf.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the ceremony is a part of the Armed Forces' dedication to commemorating religious occasions and instilling Islamic values in their personnel. The event began with a recitation from the Holy Quran by Sheikh Khaled el-Garhy.

Al-Azhar scholar Amr Hassan Afifi delivered a speech focusing on the Prophet's life as a model for sacrifice, security, and nation-building. He emphasized the importance of embodying the Prophet's morals and following his example.

Assistant Minister of Defense Major General Mohamed Ali Sayed Ahmed spoke on behalf of General Ashraf Salem Zaher, highlighting the Armed Forces' commitment to protecting the homeland and serving national interests with patience and dedication, inspired by the Prophet's example.

The ceremony concluded with the honoring of winners from the Armed Forces' annual Holy Quran competition, reflecting the commitment to strengthening religious awareness and encouraging adherence to religious and moral values among personnel.
