Cairo: Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Minister of Defense and Military Production Abdelmaguid Sakr on Monday, July 21, 2025, sent a cable to greet President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, on the anniversary of the July 23 Revolution.
According to State Information Service Egypt, Sakr praised the sacrifices of the Egyptian people who have built a nation characterized by freedom and independence. He emphasized the unwavering loyalty and steadfastness of the Armed Forces under President El-Sisi's leadership. Sakr highlighted the commitment of the Armed Forces to the principles of the revolution, their unity with the Egyptian people, and their role in constructing a strong, modern state. The message underscored the army's vigilance in safeguarding Egypt's security and stability, defending strategic and national interests, and deterring threats to the nation's sovereignty and resources.
In addition, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces Ahmed Khalifa also sent a similar message to the president, marking the anniversary of the July 23 Revolution. Sakr further instructed that greetings be extended to all members of the Armed Forces, including commanders, officers, non-commissioned officers, soldiers, civilian personnel, and those participating in peacekeeping missions.
