Cairo: The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Minister of Defense and Military Production, Ashraf Salem Zahir, has conveyed his congratulations to President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, who also serves as the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, on the occasion of the New Hijiri Year 1448 AH.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the Minister of Defense and Military Production expressed his heartfelt wishes to President El-Sisi in a formal message. He stated, "President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, it gives me great pleasure to extend to Your Excellency my sincere congratulations and best wishes on the occasion of the Hijri New Year 1448 AH. May Allah return it to Your Excellency in good health and continued success, and to our beloved nation with goodness and blessings."

Additionally, the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Ahmed Khalifa, sent a similar message of congratulations to President El-Sisi, echoing the sentiments shared by the Minister of Defense on this significant occasion.
