Armed Forces and MCIT Launch IT Training Course for Conscripts

Cairo: The Armed Forces, in collaboration with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), have launched a training course tailored for conscripts who have graduated from engineering, computer science, and information technology faculties. This initiative aims to equip these individuals with the necessary skills for the labor market.

According to State Information Service Egypt, this course is part of a strategic protocol between the Armed Forces’ Information Systems Department and the Information Technology Institute (ITI). The primary goal is to prepare conscripts for employment opportunities by partnering with specialized companies in the information technology sector. The training covers a range of specializations including cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, website development, graphic design, e-learning, software quality testing, and geographic information systems.

Conscripts who complete the training will receive a certificate accredited by the Information Technology Institute, along with several other international certifications. These credentials are designed to enhance their employability in the information technology field, both within Egypt and internationally.

This protocol underscores the Armed Forces’ commitment to collaborating with various ministries to enhance the scientific and technological capabilities of Egyptian youth, ultimately contributing to sustainable development.
