Arab Contractors and China’s CSCEC Form Alliance for Development Projects in Egypt and Africa

Cairo: Egypt’s Arab Contractors (AC) and China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC) signed a cooperation protocol on Sunday to form a joint alliance for project development in Egypt and across Africa, the Cabinet said in a statement. Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly, who witnessed the signing, highlighted the deal as a significant step in Cairo’s efforts to deepen strategic ties with Beijing and expand cooperation amid strengthening bilateral relations.

According to State Information Service Egypt, Minister of Housing Sherif El-Sherbiny stated that the agreement is designed to deliver a comprehensive service experience in the Central Business District of Egypt’s New Administrative Capital. This initiative aims to benefit residents, entrepreneurs, and visitors while ensuring the preservation of state investments.

The partnership between AC and CSCEC is envisaged as a pilot model for integrated urban management. There are plans to replicate this model in other new cities as part of Egypt’s strategic vision to adopt sustainable governance and performance-based systems.
