Arab Bridge Maritime Records Over $40 Million Profit

Cairo:The Arab Bridge Maritime Company, praised by Egypt, Jordan, and Iraq, has reported its highest-ever profit of over $40 million as of September 30, 2026.According to State Information Service Egypt, the announcement was made during the 88th General Assembly meeting of the company, attended by key transport ministers from Egypt, Jordan, and Iraq. The company's Director General, Adnan Al-Abadleh, highlighted unprecedented financial and operational indicators for the first nine months of 2026.In addition to record profits, the company reported historic levels for capital, assets, equity, and revenues. The number of trucks transported increased by 15%, with passenger transport also showing growth. Al-Abadleh emphasized that these strong results would support plans for fleet modernization, new market entries, and investments in maritime infrastructure.The company has recently expanded its fleet with the addition of the passenger and cargo vessel Al Jisr and the fast boat Ashur. Another vessel is being a dded soon, increasing the fleet to 11 vessels. Preparations are underway to operate new routes, such as the Safaga-Duba route, enhancing connectivity between Egypt and Saudi Arabia.Looking ahead to 2027, Arab Bridge Maritime plans to diversify into infrastructure and maritime services. Planned projects include a boat maintenance facility in Sharm El-Sheikh and the development of the Aqaba Port passenger terminal, in collaboration with Aqaba Development Corporation. The company is also enhancing its digital technologies to improve efficiency and services.Transport Minister Kamel El Wazir noted that the company's achievements align with Egypt's vision for maritime transport development. He welcomed the Safaga-Duba route preparations, which will boost trade with Saudi Arabia, and expressed the ministry's support for further route expansions.Jordan's Transport and Labor Minister, Nidal Al-Qatamin, commended the joint Arab venture's sustainable growth. Iraq's representative, Hazem Al-Hafathi, highlighted the fleet's modernization and the expansion of routes, reinforcing the company's crucial role in connecting the Arab Levant with North Africa.
