AOI and Chinese Firm Shadow Wings Sign Agreement for Advanced Defence Technologies

Cairo: A memorandum of understanding has been signed between the Arab Organization for Industrialisation (AOI) and the Chinese company Shadow Wings, marking a significant step in localising state-of-the-art defence industry technologies.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the memorandum was signed by Major General Abdulrahman Abdel Azim Osman on behalf of AOI, with Major General Mokhtar Abdel Latif, Chairman of AOI, expressing his appreciation for the new partnership. The cooperation focuses on integrating advanced defence systems manufacturing technologies through the utilisation of the aircraft factory's production capabilities, overseen by Major General Mohamed Awad.

Major General Abdel Latif highlighted the organisation's ambition to transform its factories into a central hub for cooperation and expertise exchange with the global Chinese company. This partnership aims to fulfill the defence industry needs of local and allied countries.

Senior officials from Shadow Wings voiced their pride in collaborating with AOI, a prominent figure in the defence sector across Arab and African regions. They affirmed that the memorandum marks the beginning of extensive future cooperation in advanced defence industries with AOI.
