Minister of Youth and Sport Affairs, Ayman bin Tawfeeq Al-Moayyed, has affirmed that the Gulf and Arab youth possess the talent, leadership, ambition and innovation, which enable them to take up leading posts in various fields. He pointed out the importance that they assume a key role in decision-making and contribute to building their countries competently as they represent the future of their homelands.
The minister asserted that the Kingdom of Bahrain is keen to support the youth-oriented Gulf and Arab work programmes out of a deep belief that investing in the promising and innovative youth capabilities is an investment in the future of the Arab countries.
The Minister of Youth and Sport Affairs was speaking as he patronized the concluding ceremony of the Youth Leadership Forum which was hosted by the Kingdom of Bahrain in the Youth City 2030 with the participation of the GCC countries and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
The Ministry of Youth and Sport Affairs prepared a comprehensive programme for the participating youth including a visit to the Youth City 2030, a workshop in cooperation with the Labour Fund (Tamkeen), a visit to Hope Fund, training sessions to hone the youth’s leadership skills and visits to the kingdom’s historical landmarks.
It is noteworthy that the Youth Leadership Forum aims to provide young people with more leadership skills, enhance youth skills in providing appropriate solutions to challenges and how to harness potentials to solve them, develop youth skills and innovations, and exchange successful experiences among the participants.
