WYF holds workshop on generation Z’s perspective

The World Youth Forum (WYF) held on Saturday 08/01/2022 a workshop titled “Generation Z’s perspective on the post-pandemic world” to address concepts and characteristics of generation Z.

Students of Egyptian and foreign schools exchanged consumer-style characteristics, the extent of their political maturity, and their opportunity for a better education.

The workshop shed light on this generation’s relationship with sustainable development and their role in achieving Egypt Vision 2030.

Member of Senate Alaa Mostafa said generation Z’s dependence on technology and social media badly affected their social relations and educational process.

Many of them are currently suffering from problems related to health problems and building long-term relationships such as marriage.

The workshop recommended establishing an Egyptian unity to communicate with this generation in a better way, using social media on a wide scale to reach the new generations and shedding light on the environmental dimensions.

WYF will be held under the auspices of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi in Sharm El-Sheikh from Monday to Thursday.
