The Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation, represented in the Agricultural Guidance Sector, has launched a training workshop about “modern trends in agriculture”, under the sponsorship of the agriculture minister, El Sayyed El Quseir.

The workshop is organized in cooperation with the Regional Centre on Agrarian Reform and Rural Development for the Near East (CARDNE).

Addressing the event, Chairman of the Sector Alaa Azouz asserted that the Sector and the Center are always cooperating in offering technical support and promoting agricultural, scientific research efforts.

The three-day workshop comes in implementation of directives of the agriculture minister and is aiming to help farmers know more about advanced technologies used in cultivation with the objective of upping production rates, said Azouz.
