Woman in Irbid manages to put out fire in her house during phone call with CDD cadres

Irbid: – Despite her worry and fear, a woman in the town of Sal, in the northern governorate of Irbid, managed to put out a fire that started in the hose of a gas cylinder while she was calling the Civil Defense Department (CDD).

During the phone call with the East Irbid Civil Defense Department cadres, the woman was able to completely control the fire and prevent it from spreading throughout the house, thanks to the appropriate guidance and advice provided by the civil defense personnel during the phone call.

Civil defense members soothed the woman over the phone and asked her to bring a cloth soaked in water and cover the gas cylinder while, according to a security source, civil defense cadres and cars arrived to the house’s location promptly. Because the woman followed the directions, the blazing fire was entirely put out, kept from spreading, and remained under control.

He continued by saying that these tactics were successful and that it was verified that the fire had been put out when civil defense v
ehicles pulled up to the residence to see how things were going.

The source emphasized the need of advancing and propagating the idea of comprehensive civil defense, increasing awareness of the need to take preventive measures to avoid various injuries, and acting swiftly in the face of danger. First aid is regarded as one of the fundamental concepts that everyone should be familiar with and understand, given its critical role in saving lives and lowering the risk of death for both individuals and communities.
