RAMALLAH: The country remains today under the influence of a low-pressure system, with cold and rainy weather persisting, but with no change in temperatures. Rain, accompanied by thunderstorms, is expected in most regions, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department.
Winds blow from the southwest and the west, and are brisk to occasionally strong. Sea waves are meduim.
On Tuesday, the weather is expected to be partly to mostly cloudy, with a rise in temperatures, while remaining cold in mountainous regions and relatively cool in other areas.
Looking ahead to Wednesday, the weather is expected to be partly to mostly cloudy with no significant temperature changes, maintaining a cold atmosphere in mountainous regions and relative coolness in other areas.
Temperature is expected to rise on Thursday as weather continues to be cold in mountainous regions and relatively cool in other areas.
For Monday, the meteorologocal authorities warned of the risk of flash floods and flooding in valleys and low-l
ying areas, as well as the intensity of wind speeds. There’s also a danger of slippery roads and reduced horizontal visibility.
