RAMALLAH: Weather on Wednesday is expected to continue to be very hot with a rise in temperature, approaching four degrees warmer than the annual average as the country continues to be affected by a heatwave, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Winds are light to moderate, westerly to northwesterly, and occasionally picking up in speed. Sea conditions will see waves of light to moderate height.
As evening approaches, temperatures will become mild in mountainous regions and relatively warm elsewhere.
Very hot conditions continue to prevail on Thursday.
Relatively hot to hot conditions are expected for Friday with a slight drop in temperature.
A slight rise in temperature is expected on Saturday as weather continues to be hot.
PMD warned citizens against exposure to direct sunlight for a long period, especially during peak hours, and of the danger of setting fires in areas where grasses and dry trees abound.
