The US Agency for International Development (USAID) launched on Tuesday 21-2-2023 a program for family planning and reproductive health that targets more than 10.6 million families in 10 governorates.
The program was launched with the participation of Social Solidarity Minister Nivine el Kabbag.
The program was launched by Pathfinder International (PI), in partnership with the Health and Population Ministry.
The ceremony, held at the Grand Egyptian Museum, was attended by representatives of the Health and Population Ministry, Pathfinder International, the National Council for Women, the National Council for Motherhood and Childhood, the ministries of youth and sports, education and Awqaf and the Egyptian Church.
The program is in line with the National Project for the Development of the Egyptian Family (NPDEF) 2021-2023, which is being implemented by the government, and which contributes to achieving the National Population Strategy.
