GAZA: Medical sources reported that the death toll from Israeli artillery bombardment on the eastern areas of Khan Younis, south of the Gaza Strip has risen to 30 people and dozens of injuries, the majority of whom were children and women.
The occupation warplanes launched intense bombardment on the eastern neighborhoods of the city of Khan Younis and its towns after orders were issued to immediately evacuate the eastern region and head towards the new area in Al-Mawasi to the west.
Local sources said that the occupation forces did not give the civilians time to evacuate, Instated they began carrying out intense bombardment on the city, which resulting in the killing of at least 30 people and the injury of dozens.
The eastern areas of the city began to witness mass displacement towards the western regions, especially Al-Mawasi.
In a related context, the Nasser Medical Complex, located in Khan Younis, appealed in a statement to civilians to ‘urgently’ donate blood for the benefit of the wounded and sick in
dividuals due to the severe shortage of blood units inside the complex.
This shortage poses a serious threat to the lives of the sick and injured in light of the ongoing massacres carried out by the occupation forces against innocent people and civilians.
Meanwhile, the Complex said that it received hundreds of bodies and wounded within 3 hours, as a result of the ongoing airstrikes on the east of the city.
“We are losing the lives of the sick and injured due to the lack of capabilities. We do not have the minimum resources and supplies to treat the wounded.”
About a week ago, the occupation army committed a massacre in the Al-Mawasi area, which it claimed was safe, resulting in the killing of at least 90 civilians and the injury of 300 others, in a series of airstrikes that targeted tents of displaced people.
The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October last year has so far resulted in 39,006 documented Palestinian fatalities, with an additional 89,818 others injured.
Thousands more are feared
