Jerusalem – Ma’an – The Commissioner-General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), Philippe Lazzarini, said on Thursday that “the children of the Gaza Strip are living indescribable shocks and horrors, after 300 days of war, displacement, loss and pain.”
‘Today we launched the Back to Learning programme through activities that provide Gaza’s children with a refuge from the horrors they continue to experience,’ Lazzarini added in a statement published on the X platform.
Describing the situation of Gaza’s children, the UNRWA Commissioner-General said, “They have seen what no child should see, and they deserve safety.”
