NABLUS: Undercover Israeli forces Wednesday evening killed four Palestinians in the occupied West Bank city of Nablus, according to WAFA correspondent.
He said that undercover Israeli forces, known as Mista’arvim, sneaked their way into the city and opened gunfire on a vehicle, killing the four youths inside, at a time when military reinforcements were sent to Jerusalem Road from the direction of the Huwara military checkpoint before withdrawing.
Meanwhile, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said that PRCS paramedics arrived at the scene and evacuated the four victims to the Rafidia Government Hospital.
PRCS paramedics also evacuated a youth who sustained an injury after being hit with shrapnel from live ammunition fired by the Israeli special forces to the hospital.
The occupation forces frequently conduct raids daily across the West Bank on the pretext of searching for ‘wanted’ Palestinians, triggering clashes with residents.
These raids are conducted with no need for a search warrant, wheneve
r and wherever the military chooses in keeping with its sweeping arbitrary powers.
Under Israeli military law army commanders have full executive, legislative and judicial authority over 3 million Palestinians living in the West Bank. Palestinians have no say in how this authority is exercised.
