The United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) announced that its Postgraduate Clinical Pharmacy Programme (PharmD) at the College of Medicine and Health Sciences has received full accreditation from the American Accreditation Council of Pharmacy Education (ACPE).
This programme is the first of its kind globally, outside the United States, to receive this prestigious accreditation for a two-year Postgraduate Clinical Pharmacy Programme (PharmD/Master’s in Clinical Pharmacy).
Prof. Ahmed Al Raeesi, UAEU Acting Vice Chancellor, affirmed that the full accreditation reflects the university’s commitment to providing high-quality education in line with international standards.
He noted that UAEU will continue to develop its academic and training programmes to keep pace with the latest advancements in the region. He also expressed his gratitude and appreciation to everyone who contributed to this achievement, which adds to the series of significant accomplishments the university has attained both locally and globally

Prof. Fatma Al Jasmi, Acting Dean of the College of Medicine and Health Sciences, stated, “This achievement marks a significant step towards strengthening UAEU’s position as a leading global academic institution, distinguished for offering innovative and world-class postgraduate programmes in the medical and pharmaceutical fields.
She added that the College of Medicine and Health Sciences has made considerable efforts to meet international standards in education and training, contributing to the development of a comprehensive programme that prepares graduates to address contemporary challenges in clinical pharmacy.
