ABU DHABI: President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has sent a congratulatory message to Tofiga Vaevalu Falani, Governor-General of Tuvalu, on the successful elections in his country and the formation of the new government.

The ambassadors of the Quintet held a meeting at the Embassy of the State of Qatar in Beirut today, where the current developments in Lebanon were reviewed, and the presidential issue was discussed.

The ambassadors reaffirmed the priority of electing a president of the republic and expressed their continued support for completing the presidential election as soon as possible.
