DOHA: The United Arab Emirates is participating in the fourth edition of the Katara International Exhibition for Kahraman in Doha, which is taking place on the sidelines of the ongoing AFC Asian Cup football tournament in the Qatari capital.
The exhibition is witnessing the participation of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, Trkiye, China, Poland, Latvia, Lithuania, and the Dominican Republic.
The Katara International Exhibition for Kahraman provides visitors to the AFC Asian Cup 2023 with an opportunity to learn about amber and how it is transformed from a raw material into jewellery or precious home decorations.
The exhibition is the second of its kind in the world after the International Amber Exhibition in Poland. It is being held with the participation of 79 pavilions and includes a collection of rare amber materials that showcase the beauty of human ingenuity and craftsmanship.
As part of the UAE’s participation, many models of Sheikh Zayed Mosque, the Emirates Palace, and a variet
y of gemstones in various shapes are being displayed.
