PARIS: The UAE Judo Federation signed a cooperation agreement with its French counterpart at the UAE Olympic House in Paris on Monday, on the sidelines of the 33rd Olympic Games in Paris.
The agreement was signed by Nasser Al Tamimi, Secretary-General of the UAE Judo Federation, Treasurer of the International Judo Federation, and Member of the Board of Directors of the National Olympic Committee, and Gevrise Emane, Vice-President of the French Judo Federation for International Relations, in the presence of Amal Bushallakh, Member of the Board of Directors of the National Olympic Committee, and Ali Al Amari, Head of the Public Diplomacy Department at the UAE Embassy in France.
The agreement comprises various partnerships across technical and training fields, and provides for developing the technical teams through a series of joint training courses and technical workshops, in addition to developing school programmes for judo with the participation of several specialised French experts.
The agreement also inc
ludes holding camps for men and youth categories with training programmes involving French national teams according to different age groups and attracting distinguished technical elements to supervise the age group teams.
