ABU DHABI: Ahmed Hatem Al Menhali, UAE Ambassador to Mexico and non-resident Ambassador to the Republic of Guatemala, attended the inauguration ceremony of Bernardo Arévalo as President of the Republic of Guatemala, in the capital Guatemala City.
Al Menhali conveyed the greetings of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court, to President Arévalo, as well as their wishes for further growth and prosperity for the government and people of Guatemala.
For his part, President Arévalo expressed his greetings to President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chair
man of the Presidential Court, and expressed his wishes for further growth and prosperity for the government and people of the UAE.
President Arévalo affirmed Guatemala’s keenness to strengthen bilateral relations with the UAE and enhance them across various sectors, to further develop ties between the two countries.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed prospects of cooperation between the UAE and Guatemala, and ways to reinforce them to achieve the aspirations of the two countries and peoples.
