At least two Palestinian youths were injured by live fire, including one seriously, in confrontations that broke out with Israeli forces this evening in the north and south of the occupied West Bank, said sources.
In the southern occupied West Bank district of Bethlehem, confrontations broke out in the town of al-Khader to the south, during which a youth was struck by a live bullet in the thigh and taken to hospital for treatment.
Israeli forces reportedly prevented paramedics from providing the youth with aid for at least 20 minutes before they eventually managed to transfer him to the hospital, said Abdul Haleem, the director of the PRCS emergency center.
Forces also detained a man and his 26-year-old son after raiding and searching their home in the said town.
Another youth, 25, was shot and seriously injured in the thigh during similar confrontations that broke out at the entrance of the village of Tura to the southwest of Jenin, in the northern occupied West Bank, said WAFA correspondent.
