Two Palestinians shot and injured with live fire during confrontations north of Hebron

At least two Palestinian youths were shot and injured tonight during confrontations that broke out with Israeli forces in the town of Beit Ummar, north of the southern occupied West Bank district of Hebron, said local activist Mohammed Awad. He told WAFA Israeli forces stormed an area adjacent to the settlement of Karmi Tzur, built illegally on the town’s land, leading to violent confrontations with the town residents, during which the former attacked residents with live ammunition and tear gas bombs, shooting and injuring at least two youths in the thigh and knee. They were transferred to a medical center for treatment, where their condition was described as moderate.
